This was our 6 day (5 night) trip plan. We were lucky to get permits for sites located close together, so that we could do a conservative trip with short distances. Since we often paddled into 15 - 20 knot winds, especially on the outside keys, we were motivated to get started early before the wind picked up.
Often we were setting up camp around lunchtime, then relaxing in the afternoon.
